Square Ceramic Tile Patterns

A small square tile is surrounded by larger square tiles. One large square tile will be placed diagonally then four smaller square tiles will be placed near the corners repeating the pattern throughout.

The key to this pattern is to make sure you have no slivers thinly cut tiles in visible areas as this looks shoddy and unprofessional. Setting your tiles square with a corner will minimize the number of cuts needed.
